Since 2006, Munns Farm Day Nursery has promoted learning through enjoyment. We fill our play-based programme with fun indoor and outdoor activities specifically designed to support the development of boys and girls from 0-5 years.
Set in the quiet countryside against a beautiful backdrop of the Hatfield Estate, Munns Farm Day Nursery offers a calm and safe environment with plenty of green space and fresh air. In addition, the conversion of a beautiful historic barn and stable block provides purpose-built facilities. Our separate spaces for babies, tweenies, toddlers and pre-school children are well-equipped and each of them comes with their very own garden. The result is a beautiful, exciting and modern environment with plenty to stimulate your child.
Our team is fully committed to the care each and every child. Each carer offers constant encouragement during play to help children to nurture their interests, gain skills and build their self-esteem. From the moment they join to the final day at the nursery, we make sure that each child feels at home and is supported every step along the way.
Part of this support is our focus on learning through play and we participate in training events run by the Early Years Alliance. We fully support the government's Hungry Little Minds campaign, which supports parents and carers with early learning resources to prepare children for school and beyond. For added reassurance, our insurance is provided by childcare insurance specialists, Morton Michel.
As learning doesn't end at the nursery gates, parents' or carers' involvement in a child’s learning experience is key. Working closely together helps children to make sense of the world and reach their full potential. To foster strong links between the home and the nursery, we encourage close partnerships and create an ongoing dialogue so that the nursery and home environment work well together for the benefit of the child. Have a look at our video below which shows the entrance to the nursery and a tour of the grounds.
